From 4th to 6th August 2025, RAMETI, Amravati hosted a dynamic 3-day training workshop on Success Story Writing and Video Film Making Techniques. The programme was organized under the guidance of Mr. Vinay Sonule, Head of Operations at Sunyatee International Foundation (SIF), an organization committed to farmer empowerment and sustainable agricultural development.

Objectives of the 3-day training workshop
The workshop was designed to strengthen the communication and documentation skills of frontline agricultural workers, enabling them to effectively capture, document, and share impactful farmer experiences. The focus was on:
- Success story writing – techniques for structuring narratives that highlight farmer achievements.
- Video production and editing – skills to create engaging digital content for agricultural extension.
- Knowledge sharing – promoting farmer innovations through accessible media tools.
Participation and Engagement
A total of 35 Agricultural Assistants and Extension Officers from across Maharashtra took part in the training. The sessions were structured around interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice, ensuring participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Key Outcomes of 3-day training workshop
Under Mr. Sonule’s expert guidance, the participants achieved remarkable outputs within just three days:
- 15+ structured success stories documenting inspiring journeys of progressive farmers who adopted innovative practices.
- 12 short agricultural videos, blending farmer voices with visual storytelling techniques to create authentic and relatable content.
These outputs will serve as valuable tools to communicate best practices, preserve local knowledge, and inspire farming communities.
Importance of Storytelling in Agriculture
The workshop emphasized that effective storytelling and video documentation are not merely communication tools but essential mechanisms for agricultural development. They play a vital role in:
- Sharing sustainable agricultural practices across communities.
