Second Visit to Strengthen Future Collaboration

On 23rd June 2025, the One Dollar One Child (ODOC) team conducted a second visit to New Century School in Chennai as part of its ongoing Project Awareness and Community Engagement initiative. This effort is part of a broader mission led by DXN in association with Sunyatee International Foundation to combat child malnutrition through Spirulina supplementation.

The ODOC team aimed to reintroduce the program and continue building a partnership with the school to support the health and nutrition of its students.

Reinforcing the Project’s Purpose

Engaging with School Management

During the visit, the team met with members of the school management to explain the ODOC Project’s objectives and long-term impact. Emphasis was placed on the proven benefits of Spirulina supplementation, especially for undernourished children in school-age groups.

The discussion highlighted success stories from other participating institutions and reinforced how the initiative could positively influence student health outcomes, including improved immunity, energy, and growth.

Postponement Due to New Operations

Despite their interest, the school management shared that they are currently engaged in the launch of a new school campus. Due to these operational priorities, they requested that in-depth discussions about the ODOC Project be deferred to a later date.

However, they expressed willingness to reconnect once the new setup is complete and explore how the project could be implemented effectively at that time.

Conclusion: Looking Ahead to Future Implementation

The ODOC team understands the school’s current commitments and appreciates their openness to collaboration in the future. Once the school’s new operations are fully underway, a follow-up visit will be scheduled to revisit the proposal and chart the path forward.

With continued interest from New Century School, the ODOC team remains hopeful and committed to eventually bringing the benefits of Spirulina supplementation to their students—helping build a healthier future for every child, one school at a time.
