In a major stride toward farmer empowerment and sustainable agriculture in India, Sunyatee International Foundation has partnered with DXN Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. to launch a direct vegetable supply initiative. This DXN Engagement Initiative ensures that local farmers benefit directly from their produce, eliminating the role of middlemen and creating long-term, transparent partnerships.
Under this farmer-first initiative, key vegetables such as Garlic, Tomato, Capsicum, Onion, and Beetroot are being procured directly from farms. By removing intermediaries, farmers are now receiving fair market prices, gaining better control over harvests, and building trust-based connections with industrial buyers.
Supporting Farmers Across Telangana: DXN Engagement Initiative
This initiative is currently active in the Siddipet, Chevella, and Medak districts of Telangana—regions with a rich agricultural base. Farmers here are playing a crucial role in developing a farm-to-factory model that’s not only efficient but equitable.
One such contributor is Farmer Chandu from Chevella, who cultivates beetroot. Chandu has expressed strong interest in continuing with the program and plans to supply his next crop in November 2025, marking a shift toward planned, market-oriented farming.

Understanding On-Ground Challenges
While the initiative shows great promise, real-world challenges persist. Raja Reddy, an onion grower from Siddipet, had planned to participate but was affected by unexpected rainfall. The early harvest forced him to sell outside the initiative due to lack of a confirmed procurement schedule.
Many farmers face similar issues. Without clear communication on buying timelines, they are unable to align harvests with buyer needs—resulting in post-harvest losses, spoilage, and reduced profits.
Building a More Reliable Supply Chain
To resolve these issues, Sunyatee International Foundation is preparing to build an organized farmer community aligned with DXN’s demand cycles. The next phase of the program will focus on:
- Working closely with Agricultural Officers to map crop patterns in Siddipet and surrounding regions
- Training farmers to coordinate harvest schedules with buyer needs
- Reducing waste through timely harvesting and transport
- Guaranteeing better income stability through advance planning
- Streamlining the farm-to-factory pipeline for corporate buyers like DXN
Conclusion: DXN Engagement Initiative
The DXN Engagement Initiative by Sunyatee International Foundation is more than just a procurement program—it is a scalable model for sustainable, market-linked agriculture in India. By putting farmers first and addressing key supply chain gaps, the initiative aims to reshape how agricultural produce reaches industries.
As the program evolves, it holds the potential to become a blueprint for direct farm sourcing that can be replicated across different crops and regions. When farmers earn fairly and supply chains work efficiently, the benefits ripple outward—boosting local economies, reducing waste, and fostering resilient communities.
In essence, empowering farmers enriches lives, and this initiative is a clear step in that direction.
