India’s ancient wisdom is not just preserved in stone or memory—but in inked palm leaves, a tradition dating back thousands of years. Today, that legacy is being revived through a pioneering cultural initiative: The World’s First Palm Leaf Printing Unit, launched by the Sunyatee International Foundation (SIF).

This project, under the Ancient Indian Cultural Heritage Revival initiative, seeks to reconnect people—especially Indians—with their rich written heritage by bringing ancient knowledge back to life in physical form.
Palm leaf manuscripts were the original books of Indian civilization—used to record scientific, and philosophical texts in languages like Sanskrit, Pali. Over time, many of these manuscripts were lost, neglected, or forgotten.
SIF’s initiative not only revives this ancient medium of knowledge transmission but also makes it accessible to the modern world.

This groundbreaking effort is deeply inspired and guided by Datuk Dr. Lim Siow Jin, the founder of DXN and the founding patron of Sunyatee International Foundation. With his lifelong dedication to cultural revival, Dr. Lim has translated ancient Sanskrit sutras, preserved in Chinese, back into English—bridging the East and West.
From there, a dedicated team of Sunyatees further translates these sacred texts into local Indian languages, making them accessible to all—students, seekers, scholars, and everyday people.
