In this live study session, we explored a powerful discourse from the Paali Tipitaka, focusing on the theme: “Staying at Saavathii.”
The Tathaagata, endowed with the ten powers and the four kinds of self-confidence, claims his place as the chief among beings, roaring the lion’s roar in the assemblies, and sets in motion the wheel of Brahma. He reveals the arising and cessation of form, feeling, perception, volitional formations, and consciousness — guiding beings toward clear understanding.
During the session, Datuk Dr. Lim Siow Jin shared profound insights on how the Tathaagata’s mastery empowers the unfolding of true knowledge.
Dr. Rajesh Savera skillfully guided the discussion, helping the participants connect with the deeper meaning of the Buddha’s teachings on the nature of existence and cessation.
Together, they illuminated the path laid out by the Tathaagata, encouraging precise contemplation and clear reflection.
The study left the attendees with a stronger foundation in understanding the dynamics of birth, cessation, and the liberation that follows.
